Annual Air Race Classic - June
24-27, 2008
The
Iowa Chapter has a racer in
the Classic -
Minnetta Gardinier (Classic 34)
of Iowa City. Linda Moody of the Eastern New England Chapter of the 99s
is co-pilot, and together, they are
Wild Women of the
Wind. They are also using this adventure to raise money for the
National Multiple
Sclerosis Society. Mason
City (MCW) is a stop on the route.
If you didn’t get the email about the call for volunteers
for the ARC stop at MCW in June, go to
www.airraceclassic.org or
contact Carol Berg, and she’ll
send it again. It sounds like fun. If you do go, please be sure to let
us know. |
Waypoint
Waypoint, the NCS magazine, is going totally electronic this year. If
you wish to discontinue receiving a hard copy version, please contact
Carol Berg. Elimination of
printing costs will help reduce Section costs. |
